It may be here under a new name, but it’s Poundland never the less.  Spain is becoming more British by the day – when I first moved here I couldn’t even buy a chicken that had been plucked and beheaded, now we have what I presume will actually be ‘Euroland’.  In some ways, I find it  a shame that so many of our ‘Britishisms’ have found their way into the Spanish culture.
